Pale straw color with lemon zest, flint, green and golden apple on the nose along with parmesan cheese and a tinge of dried herbs. A bright medium bodied wine with strange and unfamiliar complexity as only 15 acres are planted to this exciting Southern Rhone variety. This refreshing palate leads to one sip after another. Drink now or age until 2032.

Alisos Canyon is one of the newest AVAs in California. Located just south of the town of Los Alamos situated in Northern Santa Barbara County, the vineyard site "Watch Hill Vineyard" benefits from the largest diurnal shift in the Central Coast. San Antonio Creek acts as funnel for cool marine air coming off the Pacific Ocean. Long hang time and perfect growing conditions make this site one of our favorites in California. Alisos Canyon is known as "Goldilocks Rhone Zone". This wine is made with CCOF grapes.
